We went to the W@W Xmas Party last Friday at Fernwood Gardens. It was an overwhelming experience... syempre, we met some of the greatest wedding suppliers sa Pinas. Grabe! 'Twas a blast especially yun mga giveaways lalo na ang mga cakes! Above's our CLIQUE booth pics. I hope we can afford renting their booth on our wedding day diba Bert?

Every year, W@W hosts a Christmas auction for us, members. This year, I got to bid for a gown and a video service. And finally, I won the video service for half the price! So watch out friends. Wait for our video. Exciting!

Colored wedding

Our wedding e-group, W@W (weddings at work) has been very helpful in planning our wedding. Even if I was at first a lurker (yun basa lang ng basa at hindi nagrereply or nagshe-share sa mga topics), I got so many ideas that I got to a point where I changed our color motiff 4 times already:

1. Summer colors (red, orange, yellow - warm colors)
2. Orangy pink (that of tulips)
3. Pink and green
4. Stripes of baby pink, baby blue and yellow
5. Pink and brown

Now, we're "brainstorming" again for a new one! Si bert gusto something with blue, ako naman I want pa rin the pink and brown pero I want it pink and pearl! So compromise dapat diba? Any help from our dear friends out there?

Promo Suppliers

As of today we already have two official suppliers (which we got during their promo periods!!!):

1. Rings - we got ours from Golden Hills Glorietta --- we have identical rings, two-toned (white and rose gold) with 5 diamonds each
2. Strings - we'll be having a quintet (keyboards, flute, sax, 2 vocalists) c/o the Sound Treasure band

Wala pa kami date, church, reception, caterer, flowers, gowns, photo&video, etc etc etc. Ok lang... it's still a year worth of preparation pa naman.

The DATE

So when is the big day? Bert & I have a lot of choices:

August 8, 2008

• PRO - 080808 is significant to how we started our relationship --- curious kayo noh!
• PRO - according to feng shui, this is a good day for wedding --- why not? wala naman mawawala!
• CON - this is a Friday which means less guests --- might be a plus factor so we can minimize our expenses BUT we want all of our relatives and friends to attend our wedding

October 4, 2008

• PRO - also the birthday of Bert --- according to feng shui, we'll have good luck if we're going to celebrate 3 events on a day (to complete the 3 events, I have to force myself to give birth also on this day!)

December 6, 2008

• PRO - it's always HAPPINESS to have a wedding in December!
• PRO - happy people, happy season, happy mood.. everybody happy!

So when do you think is the big day? Remember it has to be on the 2nd part of the year... and hindi pwede umuulan!
